    It puzzles me greatly why if you have a "Dumaguete friend" of TEN YEARS standing, you have to ask questions here about accommodation in Dumaguete!

    I came here knowing no-one and found out what I needed to know before I arrived by my own online research.

    Since then I found out the detail by using this Forum.

    I thought you might ask that. No, correction , I'm not that clairvoyant lol. That question occurred to me myself.
    It's just nice to have feedback from other expats , and I have spent many hours online investigating.
    It's also good to see the characters of different expats in the area, to get the general vibe of people who have been there awhile.
    I'll have no worries, my friend there will make sure I'm just fine.

    One point I usually make, to explain why I chose Dumaguete, is because it is not a sex tourism destination. Anyone seeking that will visit, but not stay long.
