What to Expect - Cost of Housing

Have you taken into consideration the better quality of medical care in Thailand. I'm not sure on the importance of health care for you but it is certainly something to consider. From what I have seen in Pattaya (I had a friend who had an extreme allergic reaction to something he ate there and then a couple days later got bitten by something on the leg that required a visit to the doctor......he didn't care much for Thailand to say the least) the hospitals there are light years ahead of the ones in Dumaguete. My friend likely would have died if he were in the Philippines and had that severe of an allergic reaction...though he probably would have died in Thailand if he weren't with a bunch of guys who had recently taken a combat life savers course and knew how to keep his airway open.
