I looked for 20 Mule Team Borax (the US standard) for a year until one day I asked the very helpful "boss lady" Nicey at Uymatiao Hardware if she could order some for me. She did (along with potassium hydroxide). If you have a big ant problem, you too can order a 25kg bag of Borax for about 1500php!

Now for my 2 cents or a quarters worth..lol

In my looking for the best conquest of the 1000 specie of ant I seem to encounter on a daily basis around here ..no exaggeration intended..My reading has taught me that ants look for 2 main things..fat and sugar. That has ultimately led me to a concoction that has worked 100 percent of the time. And sticks anywhere I put it. Ive mixed it up and stuck it on small pieces of tin foil (recycled) and its come out shiny new like nothing was ever there. The only trick is you have to leave it where you place it for a while. Some ants get conked out almost at once. You need to leave the bodies there for the other ants to haul back to the nest for food.Thats the secret. Killing the nest. I have been ant free of a certain type that was in my bedroom for almost 4 months now. And havent seen any in here of any other.

This isnt a tricky mix..just I grab a container of borax.. I usually get out about a TBSP of it and mix in with a TBSP of cheapest peanut butter.. a couple pinches of white sugar and some cheap used cooking oil and spatula it together with a butter knife. You can play with it till it is what you like.. Id try to keep it away from pets but if you have none then you can dab some of this where ever you like..just dont sweep out the bodies..in less than 24 hours if you put it in a trail spot all the mix will be gone and so will the dead ants. This is also supposed to be good for roaches and silverfish...or so some proclaim..I said *have at it*..LOL and good luck

Yeah you can get this stuff in a dollar store in the USA for about 8 oz worth but I bought 5 lbs from a welding supply store and it has lasted me these last 6 years and still have some !!
