My wife and I were in Hypermarket about a year ago and someone had set there phone on an encap near the pots and pans. No one close about so I took it to the manager assistant. Later my wife told me , you know they will just keep it, its an expensive phone. It never dawned on me about that attitude at the time. I wished later I had just called a few numbers on the phone to let one of their friends contacts let the owner know who had it,. Glad you got yours back.
Someone came to my gate last week holding an expensive cell phone, she found it outside and asked if it was mine..
cool, so you have my phone ? please shoot me a PM when we can meet that i can have it back. reward 2 bottle Andechser Doppelbock at Casa B
I do understand that, my NokIphoSung is really a great piece of modern communication. and I really admire you for sending the false claimers away, waiting for the REAL owner... Please don't show the pictures in the phone to others, would be very embarrassing for me...
My experience in the Philippines is very limited, but I do intend to retire to Dumaguete in about 5 years. I don't think the experiences mentioned here are any different than any other place in the world. I expect that the same thing would happen here in New York City. The vast majority of people are basically honest and want to do the right thing. Odds are that lost property would be found by an honest person who would try to return it. There are always the few in any culture who subscribe to the childish "finders keepers" attitude.
