Reading up on it, that style is molasses boiled 2x more than standard stuff to burn off more of the sugars. So I guess if all else fails I can make my own from any molasses

i bought a gallon jug from ducomi with 47kg molasses for 54 pesos a few weeks ago.

i've been ingesting ducomi molasses and other ag grade molasses for 15 years and still kicking.
sometimes, you'll find it to be diluted for spraying but the ducomi molasses appears to as blackstrap as blackstrap gets.

I believe it's left hand of City Hardware, the building is with name Ducomi, I think that's also where they buy the copra...(but I could be complete wrong)

I would think one could buy blackstrap molasses aka *food grade* in any food store? Hypermart etc?.. I cant vouch for availability as I bought a gallon in Bacolod six months ago and havent had to look for it local as yet. Distribution nationally does seem to suffer from poor infrastructure though. Possibly popping into the wholesaler places like Times Merch. and Belcris ?

Sheep..seeing that I wont assume you make lamb available locally so Im asking? Im american and havent eaten much lamb or rabbit as far as that goes but I do try from time to time to avail myself of different foods for my table.

Yes sometimes we have.. Here is the thread I put in a while ago:
We keep sheep for our own consumption but sometimes have to much so we can sell some.
We prefer you to buy the the meat of a whole lamb in once. They weight from 6 to 10 kilo. But since this seems often to much we sell now also one half (left/right). Our sheep pure biological grazers on 2 ha ground, regularely dewormed and given vitamines/molasses, polard/cattle feed.
Meat on the bone cost P 400 per kg. (hind & fore legs, rib cage, neck and back)
If you want the head, heart, kidneys, liver and fat we have to make a price for that.
Delivered frozen, in Dumaguete on Wednesday mornings.
We have some regular customers we give notice by text if available. Pls tex me your number and I will put you on the list.
First to react on the text is first to be serviced. We just sold 3 live lambs so there's no stock as of now.
