Thank for all the suggestions guys, it's for the wife, I'm over in the UK, she needs one fast, just finished some work on the house, at least one of the bedrooms. Told her to get one when she got there two weeks ago. She's been so busy getting power on and so on. I have to stay here in England and work, back over in December for a few months (snow bird)

Two blocks from the market downtown you can get a bamboo single or double bed for 600 or 800 pesos. Throw a foam mattress on it for 2,000 and you are in business.

Mandaue foam sells decent inner spring mattresses. It's not the best I ever owned but it's acceptable, especially for here.
