If his profits hinge on the cost of butter, he's in trouble. I don't need any more round about excuses for goofy charges or poor wait staff performance from local restaurant owners myself.

There are lots of places to eat in town.

Once we find a house to rent, my wife's cooking will outdo most of the anyway.

Is there still a place there call Don Adelantoson the blvd? OR SIMILIAR NAME? I went there for steak once and got frozen beef from Australia which was terrible...

Yes, Don Atilanos. It was expensive and very tough, with no flavor. The family that took my there said it was the best steak in town...

Come on, folks - this thread is titled "WHERE TO EAT." I love to read about new restaurant options but don't really care to read comments that "bad-mouth" restaurants, their proprietors or the price of butter. If you don't care for a place, then don't go. Simple.

This is a positive thread, so let's please stay focused???

    Submitted with all due respect,
    Sue

One of My favorites has always been the Camiguin Express at Lab As/Hayahay. I always eat upstairs in what I call the treehouse which overlooks the street and the Ocean. Their Camiguin Express is basically the same thing as Bicol Express, although it is made with Seafood rather than Chicken with a spicy coconut soup base.
