    Hasn't posted for quite a while since just after moving to Dumaguete. Is he well?

    I wonder why he hasn't posted any since he and his family left Manila for Dumaguete City.

    I think he was getting frustrated with the level of conversation here.
    seems that most people here put Macdonalds and shopping malls above things such as marine conservation and ohter environmental issues.
    I would have thought the snorkelling and diving plus the natural envt here would have been the thin gs that drew people to the area and not access to Macdonalds and malls which canb unfortuasntely be found anywhere in t he world. what made dumu unique was the absence of these things.

    Another reason I got concerned was that his new rental house in Zambo just popped up on islandsproperties.com as a rental for 25k pesos/mo. He mentioned it was a duplex arrangement, so maybe it is the other one being advertised...but it sure looks like the one he posted. Anyway hope he is ok. I kind of looked forward to learning more about marine biology and ecology from him.

    He is fine, he is busy getting settled down here.

    He is not online in his house yet, but should be soon, then he will be back on the board :smile:

    He might even show up tonight in Little Italy :smile:

    Thanks for letting us know Mr. Dane! Glad to hear earlmj is fine. It must be his neighbour's duplex being advertised....Wonder if that is due to excessively loud organ music from next door.:D

    ah, this thread is nice and clean again...

    Anyways, I havent heard from him in a while, dont know where he went. He ended up not taking the duplex but got something north of Dumaguete City in stead.
