    Who Am I

    Nothing special..... An American....retired military..... Married to a beautiful Filipina who is a better person than I..... I write a small column for the Negros Chronicle (local newspaper....available on line).....mostly just my opinion about life in the Philippines..... been here six years..... not the sharpest crayon in the box but not stupid either..... prefer facts to personal attacks ..... open minded but also opinionated.....

    Thank you...... I once had a bad experience on a military forum. I was dubbed an "@ss clown" because they did not believe my military experience.... when I sent the administrator proof, their response was "we still do not like you "....and I was dumped.....sometimes these forums can be sort of "clannish" I was afraid maybe I had stepped into another "closed club"

    I spend a lot of my time researching my articles....but I will contribute when I can..... Working on an article about Little Children of the Islands...... what a HUGE job they are trying to do
