Manila - The Worlld Health Organization (WHO) reported in its Global Status Report on Road Safety 2015, that of all road fatalities in the Philippines 53 percent are motorcyclist. Pedestrians follow with 19 percent, followed by the drivers of four-wheeled vehicles with 14 percent and with 11 percent of its passengers. The WHO indicates the numbers of road deaths in the Philippines annually with 10,379 people, while according to the Philippines Department of Public Works and Highway Traffic Accident Recording and Analysis System of 2013, only 1,513 people were killed in road accidents .
