Well, from a Pinoy point of view, what you may call "unseasonally warm" is still TUGNAW JUD!!!! to people who were born in the Tropics. Now Australia is nowhere near as cold as England, but the Pinays still find it hard to cope with. One of my wife's friends on arriving in Australia during winter, locked herself in the bedroom with the heater on for 3 months, while her hubby was away. When he got back and saw the quarterly electricity bill he nearly had a cardiac arrerst! About 12 months ago the minimum temps started getting down to 10c. When my wife complained about this, i said: " Darling, its only Autumn, in a few months 10c will be a maximum temperature". My wife promptly burst into tears! The solution: in July last year, i took Prenilie to the Victorian Alps a taught her how to Snow Ski. After experiencing REAL COLD, we came home to South Australia and she said it was not so bad here now Pren's bana P.S. Manzanita is right about the rural pinoy, Mabinayanon's dont seem to have such a problem with walking
We should always consider exercise and acceleration so never forget exercise value this become a stimulation in our body and we never forget it importance as walking and food nut ration absorb our body.
I waited the past 2 days to catch ceres bus to city from mountain town to renew visa and today visa expires,I almost walked but 47 km is not for me in this country...I've had helpers at least 3 who were born and raised here and refused to go outside in the rain on my behalf even if i gave them nice umbrella and raincoat because the feared getting sick...I always get sick caught out in the rain and its rained regularly almost daily for over a year now.....The 2 day bus wait never happened to me before here but last few days every bus is overloaded beyond standing room and all the jeepnys were overloaded to the roof..I waited 4 hours and 8 ceres passed by with no room to pickup and gave up went home..Today i made it in time to not over stay my visa and renew but the bus that picked me up was overloaded and i was hanging on the ceiling rails while trying not to crush a boy or be crushed...Good thing only the buses to city are overloaded and my return home to the mountains will be easier........So much public transport here its hard to drive ones own vehicle and i never thought that so much public trans could overload all day long and still leave passengers not able to get a ride...I now know overpopulation is serious business when so many buses and jeepneys polluting and still not enough to handle people wanting a ride who wait 2 days to find room on 1 bus..there are 2 ceres buses an hour and 2 jeepneys an hour on my route and im in a low population are in between two high populated cities of cebu and bacolod.
You should have posted here earlier-who knows, maybe someone was coming back this way via motorcycle or car passing your area.
