I have been to Hyundai and Ford lately and was amazed to be told that Hyundai no longer supply the Eon small hatchback and Ford no longer supply the Ecosport medium sized SUV.
I have owned both previously and found them to be good quality and value for money vehicles.
The smallest Ford available now is called a Territory, quite a large SUV and the smallest Hyundai is the Creta medium sized SUV.
I am not a car counter but i can see that the Ecosport and Eon were very popular in this area so to discontinue them and replace them with nothing comparable does not make good business sense to me. :bag:
Good news for Toyota, Suzuki and the others though.:cigar:

According to Google Hyundai makes a 2024 Eon.
Several years ago I went to the Hyundai dealer looking for an I10 and was told they don't make them anymore. They had an SUV in stock that they would be happy to sell me.
I bought a Toyota Vios instead.
A few months later I stopped into Hyundai to look at a used car for my wife. SUPRISE SUPRISE there was a spanking new I10 on the showroom floor.
Maybe you need to shop elsewhere.

If we had all the money we have spent over the years on cars, we would be rich men. (maybe some are! :woot: )
Although I have never had the pleasure of owning a brand new car, I have had good ones and bad ones in the used car market.
Now I've given up on modern cars, four years ago, since the introduction of computerised components, the last three cars ended up requiring major repairs costing more than the cars were worth.
Maybe I was just unlucky, but automatics are now off the list and French cars also.
I have had two Hyundai's in the past which gave me no trouble at all, manual drive ( Hyundai Ponies Mk 1 and Mk2 )
Automatic's, Crysler Neon's, one good one and one bad one. Citroen Grand Picasso C4, a great car till gear box trouble, a Peugeot 3008 gave me my heaviest loss
and scrapped after owning it 12 months, because once again, repair would cost more than the car was worth.
All these cars were sold to me as one owner, low mileage cars with service history! Usually 2/3 years old.
The car I am driving now, value wise, was half the price of the others in comparison, older too, and has given me no trouble mechanically in the three years I've owned it......A 2009, Nissan Note, small but reliable.
I avoid driving at night now, when possible due to poor night vision, like cars things are wearing out, keep smiling stay happy.
