⌛ Why ???

I think It is time to start a own threat about a topic, discussed in others...

I really smile about the Holyness of the Expats here. All talking about the beauty of the country, and the poor girls being abused....
A word comes in to my mind an it starts with "B" in the middle is "ulls" and it ends with "hit" !!!

For whatever reason almost nobody brought his wife or/and girlfriend from his homecountry. And if they did, many of the relationships broke (I can tell you quite some examples... I am one of it...:( )
Are we to old, fat, ugly to find a young, goodlooking, caretaking Lady in our homecountries?
I guess it is in our nature that we look for the "exotic" things.
Maybe the ladies in our countries are "grown up" after some thousand years and also wanna have their own life and an own opinion.

Not many 25 year old woman falling in love with an man double age...
But it means social secutity for her, also a kind of easy life, for sure easier then a hard day on the fields and washing cloths at night, when the 5 kids are in bed and the husband is out fishing, try to catch the food for the next day.

For sure some kind love may grow, but that lady may prefer a good looking guy at the same age where she is secure until both are old... not being a widow in the mid 40th...
Nobody of us males here (in the second half of our life) is looking for a 40+ year old woman where the outside beauty slowly disappears.
So please don't try to pretend that you are here because of the culure, food and beaches...

Guys and Girls, be honest to yourself and don't pretend being holy

So now I wait for the stories why YOUR case is something completely different...:D.

I will tell my story in that thread too, and sure it is also something completely different :p but the lovely women of the philippinens are also a big part of it

 

Roody, i hope its fine for me to share some inputs, im not an expat but im usually approached and ask for advice from co-missioners above marrying and leaving in PI after retirement,

factors they considered and i endorse;
1. LADIES - pinay are far more caring, loving and young(few exceptions)
2. Retirement - Euro, pound, dollar has long way to go if spent in PI
3. realty and taxes - affordable
4. Beaches and b****es - are a bunos

yep you are R I G H T !!
Not many girls seek for a double age / double belly sized husband . The secure way of life , leading them perhaps to an "other World " is very tempting . also caused by the nurmerous WeB Sites ,luring both men and grils to the places where the grass is greener ,just like the money is....
But lets face this as well. There are plenty of young women that are sick and tired of the local men , beeing abused , while believing that the boy / man involved was free , thus a candidate for a marriage.
How did you know Earl .. Simply . My wife has those experiences ...
She was completly FED UP ! with man , pooring sweet little words about the nearby future into her ears ending up.. between the sheets...
Once again , as you all may see I am a very frank and open hearted person , even on a topic in which I wish to be open when it comes to myself.
Even the brother ( 23 ) of my wife. is married , two kids and has minimum 4 !! girlfriends , but claims proudly to have more.. Last month he called my wife telling he has the Clap and how to explain his wife ,plus his girlfriends.

This is not uncommon in the rest of the world perhaps , but likely somewhat more in practice here . I hope you gentlemen on the board and local , do not mind me writing this is open , for sure you DO NOT BELONG to those whom practise such ill behaviors...
Having this said . I do believe that many of the serious girls and women here , like the extra and well diserved !! attention we EXPATS can give.
I am not in favor of seeing a 17 year old girl having a relation with a cripple 87 year old practicaly death LOLO , but it is up to her , Surely not up to him.. as he will agree , for obvious reasons...

In this hasty world good manners between sexes are getting overruled by the indoctrine that all is fare in love or.. what every you want to name it..
I have a strict opinion on this matter and I am sure most of the men will also agree .
AIDS is within the EU COMMON spread amongst TEENAGES of BOTH SEXES and NOT convined to gays as one might aspect. Girls and boys even believe that they cannot get AIDS as it is a typical "thing "that happens when you are gay only..
Well Rhoody , here is my idea about it all. I am a happy man , I met my wife and was not looking to get myself getting one , and my wife believed that true love did not exist.. Those that know us in person. will know that we are a great couple , practicaly 24/ 7 together as well.
The KISS is right after we got married , we did not spend any money on that as we believe marriage is done in front of the Eyes of The Lord Almighty and not at City Hall. The other picture.. needs no explination ...

My feeling and appriciation of BULL sh*t ....
A turkey walks in the jungle and sees a Bull shitting .. The Turkey walks up to the Bull and says .
I wish that I could climb that big tree there , completly up to the top.
The Bull answers : Well then you have to EAT my Bullshit..
The turkey eats all the Bulls sh*t and yep with very little power he reaches half way..
The truket goes back to the Bull and says ,that was half way only .The bull anwers : Come back tomorrow and eat more sh*t of mine.
The next morning the trukey comes very early and sees again the Bull shitting ,but only FAR more sh*t then the day before .
The Turkey , realy want to go all the way to the top , eats ALL the sh*t of the Bull..
Climbs the tree , YEP !! in the Top.
At the same moment a hunter sees the turkey in the top of the tree and.. shoots it ,dropping dead on the floor.
WHAT DO WE LEARN FROM THIS ???
YOU CAN COME A LONG WAY WITH BULLSHIT but.... BUT YOU NEVER STAY THERE FOR LONG !!!!!!

My input on this topic.....I have a young wife...I have to admit myself I dont married a filipina not only because they are caring, loving etc....but I also need a beauty to my eyes...and outside beauty will always come together with the age...the older the woman the beauty fades....

thank you for being honest.
IMHO the beauty is the main-reason. The older ladies would love us as much and probably more honest than the young. And they can take better care because of more life-expierience... no doubt about that.
No insaults to all ladies here, but I cought some nice coffee-chikka-chikka of 5 philippina (3 of them married to Expats since quite a while, as what I understood) sitting on a table next to me.
They got my attension because they used words which are not existing in the local language. So i asked my girlfriend to translate what they were talking about. I am a kind of life-expierienced, but I almost blushed... There were bedroom-stories I haven't heard in Boys-talk in a dirty AC Santos-Street bar.
Maybe those 5 lidies were exeptions, maybe our ladies are exeptions and don't talk like that, but it made me thinking ...

Well funny and yet not a full surprise to me..
My own wife claims that "girls talk "is some of the time strict Girl talk. meaning talking about the guys in particular their own.:(

As we are very close and consider our relation unique, I get to hear all these
" bedtime "stories as well. Hmm.... they are not so pretty at all !! It seems take take pleasure in reveiling that what men hate the most .

Well an other "good " thing about Dumaguete is that one van get cheap Generic VIAGRA and CIALIS at Rizal Boulevard.. going price is 300 peso per box.. for 4 times "fun". How did you know that Earl ??

and it was not only the "flat-tire", it was also how to "earn" some additional allowance...:(...

I guess in this is when the theory of the ‘opposite attracts’ applies. I for one, even when just a small girl fascinated with tall people and so much with Caucasians. Perhaps due to watching many western films which contributes to the odd fixation , the equivalent of what is ‘exotic’. I find caucasian men lot more sexy than asians ( I hope my pinoy fellas will not slap my wrest for saying this ) the reason why I married to one. Perhaps very sensitive issue to share with to people,but anyway I am only incognito here ,not bothered ...oops apart from one member in this forum (an old school friend hahaha…. hi cris ) and only to contribute my views.

Old ugly guys don’t attract young girls? I know this isn’t often happening but odds could sometimes happen. Was once attracted to this American ( US peace corp volunteer in dgte ) during my late teens,who looks triple my age ,looking like in his 50’s but in his 40’s. I was only 19,a student at SU at that time,never had bf ever .This guy having looks many girls would get scared of and never noticed .But d*mn despite almost loosing all his hairs with all bushy face,very tall,got deep blue eyes ,nice athletic legs though ,but d*mn the core attraction was he’s very smart and sweet ,nice conversation ,great sense of humour he’s a laugh ,thought me how to juggle 4 balls ,brought me to show his project ,and when during basket ball with other US PCV’s and have walks ,similar like dates but never a date ,we were just friends ,he never see me more than that I guess,was frustrating for a while to young girl of 19 who madly fancied him .My friends and cousins who knew said I must be very strange to be deeply infatuated with an ugly old ‘kano’ or white guy,ending up with dirty laughter . My attraction wasn't on the physical level but the great personality in him. but we were just friends. i n same time frame met another younger PCV during their Silliman training (oh never met this guys from the WHY NOT ,hahaha ), who fancied me , then riding on with it happen to be my first ever BF,wonderful . My older friend ‘T’ when he knew it suddenly avoided me strangely never talk to me anymore ,not even a ‘hi’ when we passed each other,strange man ,it broke me though , i was very sad ,but we were only just friends as i knew it ,then he soon finished his term then back for the US. Nearly 3 solid yrs on my first relationship fall out .Long story though .But here we go part of real life story unvealed in public forum .lols.

It wasn't primarily the thought of security blah blah for having a long noose bf /relationship ,just being so fixated /obsession of a ‘white guy’ those times, not anymore now as I have a wonderful husband . Though ,It is normal occurence for pinays to have past relationship with pinoys ,and because of failure they go for the other alternative of kanos . I never experienced such ,perhaps because i rarely was attracted to our fellas and avoiding any connection .

Perhaps ,being married to a white would probably lead to the same stereotype label / generalized assumption a relationship based on search for passport /security .I’m not bothered ,I thought hell let them think of and believe whatever. But then if security/passport comes with a white guy then they are the added bonus.
