Hummm....having your mother in law or a gun in the house? It's a no brainer, I'll take my chances with a loaded gun...even heavy explosives.:D

LOL, that only helps keep mother in law out, and better for thieves to come in.

    Not me, The Wife

    Gun Ownership requirements
    1. Proof of Philippine citizenship/birth certificate
    2. Proof of identity/name, proof of address/billing
    3. Proof of qualification/profession/vocation
    4. Police and NBI clearances
    5. Neuro-psychiatric evaluation
    6. Drug test result
    7. Certificate of training/seminar on gun handling and safety

I can assure you when my house is done I will be pursuing the following course of action as within the law to protect land, house, property and of course loved ones.
    1. My wife has a gun carry license and she has used it before and knows what she is doing. I will not go near it as I don't desire to spend one second in jail as this is against the law. Of course if you as a foreigner use it you better be able to cover your @ss
    2. We will have watch dogs that don't bark and God help the person that scales our property walls unannounced. They will spend a very long evening pinned up against a wall, shitting in their pants and barely have the desire to breathe in fear of being ripped to shreds.
    3. And I am fairly confident that there will not be a barking dog anywhere in the vicinity to keep me up at night which I find the most disturbing thing of all here with absolutely no controls on dogs or any animal for that matter.
