Eating frogs is a delicacy youll find in davao. (Not cane toads)and yes they said its similar to chicken? Havent tried and i dont want to. Ive seen it once in the wet market of davao city ( a bunch of live frogs with their legs tied down) they said you peel them then fry? Maybe marinade? You must have a steel stomache that you have dared to eat it.

I dont think my stomache is strong enough to eat those that ive mentioned. Thats even worse if its a snake, cant even stand being near it.

My grandfather used to take me to the local pub for some fried frog legs when I was a kid. It's a white meet, if it was taken off the bone and mixed with your chicken you wouldn't have any clue you ate frog.

I tried gator for the first time in Atlanta, was fried and in sandwich form. I've had it grilled as well, awesome taste in both forms.

Tried grilled snake several times while camping and was impressed. Can't remember what type of snake though.

My grandpa also used to make cow brain sandwiches and opossum tail (or so he claimed it was, I think it was beef jerky).

Eating birds shouldn't be a big deal. You've tried chicken, duck, turkey, pheasant right? The taste/texture is usually the pretty close for birds that have the same diet.

Being a full blown country boy, I have eaten quite a variety of meat, from beaver backstrap to frog and gator to bison to doves. I agree on all counts.

I have not eaten cat or dog (that I know of). However, I have eaten a few things in the Philippines that were questionable, so I suppose anything is possible.

Meat is meat, recommended reading King Rat by James Clavell. LOL
