Hmmmmmm well, this one of those words I did not think Existed, most of the time I think we all use it as a two word expression, ie; "And not Before time, was his answer' but because the English language can be so peculiar we don't always understand totally, no matter how old or Clever we think we are at our mother language. [In this case English] so I thought I would Thread it and see what others thought about a word we maybe have all used in a wrong context at times. What do you reckon?:D http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/archive/2014/12/18.html?src=rss Just my Christmas Eve Offering JP. " MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL "
Now I have a damned headache because of you JP, trying to figure that one out....................lol.......:p I will have to sleep on it.
Some of my favorite authors like to slip into archaic English. Good one Jack, not before time could mean late or almost and not beforetime could mean not to act too early. Now I would read the link and see what it says but my internet has been crap and I even lost cell signal, I hope they are fixing it.
Guys, I think we have to keep in mind, exacty what English we are using as a template here, either the original British English or American English, and there is a definite difference, when you compare the Collins and the Webster dictionaries............LOL..............:D:p
