XMAS SINGERS

According to a documentary I saw this is true. The increase their income from begging by 50%. It was also noted that the babies seldom cry, primarily because they are drugged at times. Not a good solution for earning in my opinion.

we had 4 kids here last night, around 14-15 yrs old...after we gave them a few pesos one pulled out a better phone than i could ever afford

if anyone attends, keep your eyes open and ears (covered) when the JUNOB lot get their Go as I am sure they would win hands down. Lots of pretty girls but like a lot of Ladies/Girls with Certain British dialects, they are Great till they open their Mouths :oops: Oops did i say that? You Gotta give it to Dumaguete Tourist Board to come up with another Winner? Hmmmmmmmm NOT maybe!

After my years here I am sick and tired of these singers. One group in 50 actually sounds like they did a little practice and tried putting something together. Most the time its a couple of kids (usually boys) who sing very badly for 30 seconds and then *merry pasco* for the next 5 minutes feeling its their right to get money. They skip many houses though and seem to know which houses have foreigners or the Filipino's more likely to give. In one afternoon I could easily get 10-15 groups and from past years experience when I was more generous (bit of a fool I was then) they would keep coming back or swapping up those in the group. Give once and I'd be lucky if they came back only once a day.

But really, I'm not going to be giving out 200-500p a day to these *singers* at 20-50p each time. They also started at end of Nov and last year they continued until mid Jan. Think we even had a couple at the very end of January come by.

Note: turning off lights and closing the door does NOT work most of the time for those annoying groups.
