The two thing that concern me most about the death penalty are: 1) The 'justice' system in most countries is not fit for purpose as it is based upon the law trying to prove guilt at almost any cost (i.e. better to hang an innocent man than hang no one at all); 2) It is the survivors who suffer most ... the spouse, children, etc ... the executed have brief pain and their family have it for a lifetime. That is not to say that at times I have read of the most horrific crimes and want the perps to be killed slowly and painfully but, in reality, it is a major issue that I cannot fully resolve in my mind.

That's a lot of houses. If there are 100M people in the Philippines and average family size is around 5 (4.6), but I'll use round numbers. That's 20M houses if they all have houses. If they visited 6.8M, that means they visited 1/3 of all households in the Philippines. Statistically speaking that means several members of this forum have been visited. Has anyone here been visited?

Population of Metro Manila 12.8M 2.6M households
    of Cebu 3.8M .8M households
    of Davao 2.5M .5M households

Something seems off.......unless they have visited nearly 100% in the major cities.

I hope they are also doing the census at the same time. It would save them a lot of money.

Exactly! Getting run over was never a part of my life plan, I often worked 80+ hours a week working building Customs, Hotrods and also Smash repairs for the main. Cars were my everything! I worked for 10 years after my accident before the body gave out on me as my leg is still broken with no metal holding the break together since the steel plate was removed back in '85... Stuck in a rut going nowhere in life struggling on the Pension which was a p*ss in the ocean compared to what I was use to, meant severe depression set in due to the fact I am ADHD and NEED to be doing something, anything! Nowadays I have learnt to relax more which helps a lot with pain relief due to very badly worn joints caused by my severe limp when I walk, and coming to the Philippines, whilst at times 'some things' annoy the hell out of me, has been just the thing I NEEDED in life. Going back to Oz would mean my Pension would merely be paying for Rent and Electricity like before, and my Wife would NEED to work to make ends meet, again I cannot see us happy and getting ahead in life living that way. Here I am actually making something of our lives, where as back in Oz I just could not see that happening due to lack of money, NO WAY could I do there what I have so far succeeded in doing here. I just hope I live long enough here to make a go of things here and create a business of sorts where my Wife and Daughter will have an income after I am gone where they can both live comfortably. Sorry; but personally I am tired of being stuck in the poverty loop of no escape like I was before I came here. :o o:

Your wife and daughter could possibly make better career choices in Australia though. They may be fine while you are around with a disability check to cover the majority of the living expenses, but what happens to them after you (and that Australian disability pension) are gone? If you think the career choices in Australia are bad, have a look at the options in the Philippines. I think the options for success are much better in Australia than in the Philippines. However, poor life choices and/or not knowing how to advance one's career can restrict those options to basically zero.

The scammer had a personal reference from a respected member of this forum.
I'd accept that over the someones gazing into a crystal ball.
Comments were made about him being arrogant. I thought he was pretty polite in view of the vitriol spewed at him.

I never found anywhere Izzyb44 posted, stated or insinuated he "cleaned" his plate. I searched all of profile information, posts. Are there words being put into his mouth or posts attributed to him.
Am I missing something? I hope a member is not being disparaged, or made fun of because because he gave personal opinion contrary to someone else's opinion.
Izzyb44's post may have been harsh, but it would be nice not to put words into someone's mouth or food either by saying he cleaned his plate.
    Original post:
was the only post I found. I know the poster is rather harsh in his opinion and the poster has only posted 5 times, one more time than 73 JT who is coming back at him the first time.

Discounting some one's opinion that does not agree with you does not encourage honest posting either. Members rely on posst for making decisions. Everyone had different tastes in food.
How about stating your own point or opinion with out making fun of someone else, disparaging them or discounting their opinion. Opinions are opinions and every one has one. (you know the full quote),

Hard to take anything more than a post with no substance out of Izzy's comments. The owner of Senorita's is very approachable and there 14 hours a day. I find it hard to believe that once notified of any problem with a meal there she would not have tried to make things right, exchange for a different item or take it off the bill. The fact the meal was traveling down the large intestine before the writer left is the first red flag.If I ever encountered a "worst meal" anywhere it would have been brought to the manager's attention after 1 or 2 bites, not cracked off about in a forum after clearing the plate. Easy here to attack a restaurant here after the evidence has turned to shite, offering no specifics to justify their comments. Constructive criticism, suggestions to management etc help restaurant owners provide a better venue for those who frequent their establishments. This is not a personal attack on the writer, just written from personal experiences as a restaurant owner who was able to resolve 9 times out of 10 make any issues with the food.
