Your use of capitalization is a dead give away. You can call it whatever you want but I know d@mn well you heavily support/sympathize the sovereign citizen movement and/or their ideals.

That is not my claim. The articles of confederation were replaced with the current constitution by the founding fathers and are no longer valid or applicable to US citizens. Sovereign Citizens want to have their cake and eat it too. Thinking they are protected by the rights laid out in current constitution and bill of rights yet say it doesn't apply to them. Garbage humans.

my opinion is that you are way way off base rye. if you really want to know this guy, then chat with him a bit and let him answer some questions if he is so inclined. there is nothing wrong with supporting the constitution of the United States as you i presume are sworn to do. i think among other things this guy is a history buff.

i learned some about the soverign citizen thing thanks to the discussions here on this topic so thank you. i really don't think its fair or even intelligent to rush to labeling someone you have never met as supporting such an organization based i guess on your intution. i read that the soverign citizen members do not agree to pay taxes, do not agree that any laws apply to them and a multitude of other extremely disagreeable beliefs. i read there there are about a hundred thousand or so members. i rather doubt that you have found one, statistically speaking i would be probably 99.999999 percent sure (to use your statistical methods)

its just a suggestion but i would think the mission of dumaguete info is to establish good relations with as many expats as can be fit into the fold. obviously you are here to settle disputes and help us reach common ground and also to help us stay on plan. but wow, you don't have to use a flamethrower!

Pure blood Apache would be considered an ethnic group similar to aboriginal tribes in, for example, Australia. Modern North American Indian tribes may have been present on the continent before European races migrated to the continent but they were not the first. The European “tribes” are just the latest in the succession of people who migrated to the US, Canada, Mexico and central/South America. Prior to the modern Apache and other tribes we had the Clovis who were taken over by them. Succeeding tribes have replaced each other since prior to the land bridge across the bearing strait which brought in Asians and other people’s. Apaches came late in the game. No one race or ancestry has or had permanent title to any particular place on this planet and none is pure American blood, just the latest tenants.

This isn't the first Sovereign Citizen bs that has been posted on this forum. This exact conversation had been allowed to play out here before. All they do is argue semantics and their bs version of history and p*ss poor understanding of the law. To identify a Sovereign Citizen all you need to do is look for oddly capitalized words and idiotic arguments over definitions. They are simple people with simple minds incapable of critical thinking. They regurgitate the crap they read online verbatim. The user went full all out with the punctuation and wording that gave it away. To say it is unlikely to be found here, well, that's just not the case. A follower, and self proclaimed lawyer and professor...which he absolutely was not...of the Australian flavor of this nonsense group (which uses the exact same vocabulary, crazy punctuation and nonsense semantic
arguments) joined this forum and attempted to recruit for a group here to partake in local political activities and protests...which is 100% illegal. These people are dangerous and will get the naive and gullible in loads of trouble in the Philippines.

Feel free to go to the controversial section and start a thread about this if you want to discuss it more. Invite the user and have that discussion you think he deserves and see how it goes. Good luck having a logical discussion, trying to make sense of their nonsense or getting any legitimate source banking up their idiotic claims.

That is not a term we normally use in the US. Is it common in the U.K.? I have no idea what it would mean in the context of American culture since we are a country of many ethnicities.

If I was ill in my home country and had the choice of suffering alone or being treated by a young immigrant Filipina nurse, I would take the young nurse every time.

Thanks for the 'agree' then - but I would genuinely be interested to know what was "a bit confusing". It is not my intention to confuse and perhaps I can explain more carefully.

well first may i say i thank you for taking the time for this explanation! i realize dealing with a lot of old f--- like me who have nothing to do all day but argue must tax your patience. honestly i could not deal with it.

i have invited the man in question for a cup of coffee and if he accepts and after that event i will reply to you about my impression. i appreciate that you have a lot of experience in this arena and a point of view that you can defend. i tend to take people at face value unless experience with them shows me i can't.

    carry on!!

well, without belaboring the point i lived my entire adult life earning my income in healthcare in various positions.

one thing thing that is certain, which you can verify, is that patients love their doctor if the doctor has a good bedside manner. those doctors rarely get sued, even if they are not particularly good at their job. conversely, the best doctor in the world is going to have a lousy malpractice record if they are gruff and have lousy people skills.

so if i am convalescing from covid as a hospital patient, i would be happy to have a young filipina nurse as my caregiver. if i come in as a trauma patient to the er then give me the gruff seasoned veteran nurse every time.
