    Give any of the Food Net restaurants in Dumaguete a go and let us know how the service (and food) was. :popcorn:

    FYI: This is the "Yada Yada / The Off-Topic Arena", no set topic here. :wink: A few posts were relocated because things were getting a bit personal in the "Service in the Philippines" thread.

    I'm good with chicken necks and balut if that's what is closest/available to my location. The Western food available here is almost always sup-par or of some brand I've never heard of before that just tastes "off". However, if Hot Pockets and Totino's Pizza Rolls were a thing here I would have broke down and bought a ridiculously overpriced crap Chinese made microwave for P4k (the kind you get in the US at Walmart for around P900) years ago. Probably best they don't have that crap designed to be prepared in a microwave here....if cooking is made that easy I would have an extra 40kg on the scales and be heading for a heart attack before I hit 40.

    I'm not disgusted by balut (actually eat the stuff about once a week on average having 2-3 in a sitting). :unsure:

    I have Googled for an answer to this many times, but it doesn't come up with anything.
    "Why is it that eggs are high in cholesterol but eating chicken is good for you and low in cholesterol ?"
    It makes no sense to me.

    Because chicken qualifies as a leafy green vegetable to be served on the side with the pork or beef steak.:thumbsup:

    Back in the states my friends all say its the suburb yuppies who drive SUV's and think so much of themselves and their SUV's. Here it seems the exact same thing. People get into an SUV and all of a sudden their driving skills go down while they think they went up.

    From all this I utter HATE being near a Pajero SUV. Almost everytime I have a close one with a crazy SUV driver here its been a Pajero driver being a complete and utter d*ck. They drive crazy and are often found honking at traffic ahead as a *get out of my way, Pajero coming through* as if since they are in one all other traffic should just get out of the way.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again. I really want a motorcycle like the one used by Chuck Norris in Delta force with machine guns and rocket launchers on front and a read filed tail rocket in back. Keep the ammo filled and I'll keep the streets clear of crazy drivers.

    What is a TWINGO? Anyways, about thread topic; I think the US includes southern Negros area in it's travel advisory now. Link not working for me at the moment.

    Sorry for the Slight Digression here. Now back to Topic;
    I believe you are Right but not for the same reason, It has been on Alert for some time against Kidnap Threats but Security has been Tightened up with beach Patrols and Coast Guard Exercises. Seems the Bad guys are using Boats, In out and Gone with a prize or not. Usually with out a Prize.:wink:
