Sure yes there is no doubt, but I'm sure they are not posting asking our opinion on their fellow Filipinos and what they do or don't do in their spare time (if they choose to break the law good luck to them)

My point is why would you post on a mainly foreign dedicated website and ask for comment on what another filipino does, and convict him too

That IMHO shows no class or loyalty

    If you say so

Where exactly is the OP going with the original post, its a fellow filipino he is putting on here, for what purpose, whats he hoping to gain from it, but a bit more traffic his way

The OP has a very few contributions made to help us out in anyway, but condemn a fellow filipino, and then jump on the bandwagon

    Make me sick

So whenever foreigners post articles here about other foreigners that were arrested for drugs, screwing kids or doing other jacked up crazy sh*t is that not showing "class or loyalty" as well? We (foreigners) do that all the time here. A bit of a double standard isn't it?

I suppose he was just sharing an news article he had interest in, much the same as everyone else does here. In the OP he asked people what they thought, gave people a chance to post their opinions and then chimed in with his thoughts/opinions. That is actually a very respectful way of going about it and I could probably take note and keep my opinions out of my own original posts until others have voiced their thoughts; it might actually encourage more of a conversation instead of just coming off as me ranting on about something.

I also know every single link that is clicked on this website and I know when a user uploads a link to their profile.

He is a new member with 13 posts: all of which have been respectful comments/questions/posts. Posting a video of another Filipino busted red-handed (perhaps planted, perhaps not) with Shabu isn't "condemning" a fellow Filipino anymore than me saying that I thought it possible the police could have planted the drugs is "condemning" a Filipino.

But here is the main thing:

That is exactly what I tell people here who wonder why I do not take my wife and daughter and live in Oz, I tell them about my kids who work just to live week to week, even with both partners working 5 out of my 6 (working) kids cannot qualify for a House loan, the one who could works in the Mines and even then his wife needed to work to qualify! Then; raising the age of retirement, most will die before they ever see that day meaning they are going to work themselves to death! After a Bike accident I ended up on Disability, and living on a Pension in Oz is a road to nowhere fast! At least here you can forget about all of the BS back home and relax a lot more than you otherwise could.

Your wife and daughter could possibly make better career choices in Australia though. They may be fine while you are around with a disability check to cover the majority of the living expenses, but what happens to them after you (and that Australian disability pension) are gone? If you think the career choices in Australia are bad, have a look at the options in the Philippines. I think the options for success are much better in Australia than in the Philippines. However, poor life choices and/or not knowing how to advance one's career can restrict those options to basically zero.

Exactly! Getting run over was never a part of my life plan, I often worked 80+ hours a week working building Customs, Hotrods and also Smash repairs for the main. Cars were my everything! I worked for 10 years after my accident before the body gave out on me as my leg is still broken with no metal holding the break together since the steel plate was removed back in '85... Stuck in a rut going nowhere in life struggling on the Pension which was a p*ss in the ocean compared to what I was use to, meant severe depression set in due to the fact I am ADHD and NEED to be doing something, anything! Nowadays I have learnt to relax more which helps a lot with pain relief due to very badly worn joints caused by my severe limp when I walk, and coming to the Philippines, whilst at times 'some things' annoy the hell out of me, has been just the thing I NEEDED in life. Going back to Oz would mean my Pension would merely be paying for Rent and Electricity like before, and my Wife would NEED to work to make ends meet, again I cannot see us happy and getting ahead in life living that way. Here I am actually making something of our lives, where as back in Oz I just could not see that happening due to lack of money, NO WAY could I do there what I have so far succeeded in doing here. I just hope I live long enough here to make a go of things here and create a business of sorts where my Wife and Daughter will have an income after I am gone where they can both live comfortably. Sorry; but personally I am tired of being stuck in the poverty loop of no escape like I was before I came here. :o o:

Somewhat similar thing happened to me. Bad luck and health issues brought me into a cul de sac in my career. From being an IT-Manager at the top of my career down to unpaid jobs and living from social aid at the bottom. Found the small turnaround with getting on a disability pension, with add on pension and with a low paid job. At least we can live now without fighting every day for just the most basic living. But the opposite side is that I'll probably never a normal job even part-time anymore.

Those types of posts are pretty uncommon and most ratings serve some type of purpose behind the scene. I can't really think what type of account/post action I could set up on a "Huh?" type of rating (it would have to be a neutral rating). I have been considering an "Off-topic" rating (neutral rating) that would automatically make the post hidden, thrown in a spoiler box or moved to an off-topic thread. I'm getting ready to head out on vacation so any such changes will have to be done at a later date.

....aaaaand I'm off-topic (whatever the topic is). Yada Yada.
