I didn't want to try and derail the thread on drugs so I've put this PSA on MJ here.
Some people consider this fake news. My parents, well they believed it.

I don't think rushing had anything to do with it. If you were there, you were there. It was a result of corrupt/incompetent eye-ties trying to build something.

    Brilliant.

Have seen this many times (Reefer madness clip) over the years and I always find the statement made in it "rolled into harmless looking cigarettes" the most ironic aspect of the idiocy.

I was talking to and dealing with the IRS and reading tax law before I read that post. I must have blew a circuit. Still hurting as I had to Google blew vs blown for that last sentence (and I still don't know which one I should have used).

Maybe a month ago. We changed it to match the rest of the site. Anything with www now redirects to non www. I don't remember if the WP components were originally setup with WWW but I believe there were no redirects in place to enforce one or the other.

They say there are only two certainties in life: "Death and Taxes" - I think they are heavily correlated!

Yes, English is very confusing at times - I don't know if you are aware but it went abroad with some Pilgrims and then got macerated.

I tend to have intuitions about use of the language as I hate rules and formulae - I feel comfortable with: "I blew a circuit" or "I must have blown a circuit".

Ciano, The Man Cave Bar, Italian DFAC, North Line DFAC:

Ciano here in Herat, Afghanistan used to be my favorite place for pizza. They closed that location down a couple years ago but they still have a location in Kabul.
The Man Cave Bar (terrible name, I know) is a decent alternative for pizza, burgers and espressos in Herat.
The Italian DFAC here will blow away almost any Italian restaurant in the US...food is free but it is invitation only for anyone but Italians. Sad.
The North Line DFAC in Kandahar is the best DFAC I have ever ate at and better than EVERY single restaurant I've been to in the Philippines (and everything in there is completely free, can't beat that).

Pretty much any restaurant in Dubai won't disappoint as a secondary.
:meh: Well crap. I quote and reply to posts as I read them. Ignore me.
