    My take:
One is doing Tinder via DI, and the other one is just not feeling it, but is trying to be classy about it and putting the date-pushy one under “seen”.

I feel exactly the same way, man! I'm also a 'non English speaking' person here in DUMAGUETE. And I also got the same reactions from the Filipinos, once they get to know me. At first I'm just a 'bloody American Joe' for them. And English is only my third language, but I'm not complaining, guys! I believe in 'multi-kulti' so to speak.

    I don't know.
This post is about an unfortunate and sad incident about a German national getting shot, what the feck has your post got to do with this sad incident. Who gives a toss about you and what language you speak, IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU!!

Have another look. This topic/thread is not about anything.

Rye, how do I view a list of recent threads. I see the button for "new posts" but nothing for recent threads.

This shows the most recent posts made in each thread regardless if you have read them or not.

If you want to search specifically for thread start dates there may be an option in the search function at the top right of the page:

Although I think the results will be nearly identical.

Being online and in a different state has zero impact and cost to the state you are located in. There is no vehicle traffic so no need for roads, no need for a fire department, police protection and enforcement, nothing except the impact of a UPS delivery and the delivery company pays its own taxes. State governments still attempt to collect sales taxes anyway and they are fairly successful at it. This is similar to internet phone vs old time pst phone lines; they lost the taxes and have found a way to tax voip users. Also, even if you could get a good deal by not paying sales taxes, the difference is many times offset by shipping charges. For larger companies with no brick and mortar presence you might pay both. I think it is the mere convenience of not having to go out and fight traffic (actually good for the environment), stand in line and shop around different places for the best deal, I am very likely to shop Amazon, eBay and brick and mortar stores with online presence for most of my purchases. Thus is an excellent option for buying automobiles.
