Dave ,I am a little confused..I thought that this was all settled.. First,you ,very kindly aranged for Bi to come to Dumaguete to do our annual reporting because BI said it was only possible to do it in Manila or Cebu.This was cancelled because we were informed that the B.I. in Dumaguete could now do it, starting Jan 20.. Are we back to square 1? Can Dumaguete B.I do it here?..Thanks Miguel
Count me in if we can be guaranteed there will definitely be no need to go to Cebu or Manila. I haven't been to BOI here, yet, but am pretty sure I will be told the same as everyone else.
It looks like the answer is no from the feedback on here, why they said we could then to tell everyone you can't I have no idea!
Has anyone actually spoken to Mr Torres (The ACO) or are we just taking the staff's word for things? It was reported, that he had an Open door Policy I wonder how good, His word is?
Most likely this came from the top, officials in Cebu or Manila said "oh yes, you can do it in Dumaguete", while having no clue that Dumaguete is not set up for doing so and is "in the dark" on how to proceed. When word gets back to them that it still cannot be done in Dumaguete, who knows what announcement they may make them. Larry
They told me that they got a "Memorandum" from Manila, that informed them that it can be done here, the software had been installed in their computer and they were waiting on tutorials how to operate it, that was last Wednesday noon, the date to come back, she told me then, is Monday 20, they would be ready by that... Now, I hear all this nonsense of having to go to Cebu anyway, I have not been back to the BI but will do so tomorrow, we will see...
PatO, What happened??? What did u find out? Can we - or must we go to Cebu? Things seem to be very confused....folks are now saying Duma can NOT do them...that it was a (false)rumor about the change beginning yesterday. Thanks.
