just wnt to ask, do you have a golden retriever already?

 

When I was a young boy..went hunting with my .22 rifle..looking for rabbits. One day a golden retriever puppy appeared. There was a small kennel nearby that raised them.

The puppy followed me home. My mother told me to return the dog and my father remained silent. Named her Honey due to her brilliant color.

We took her fishing, hikes and swimming. She would pull me around the lake while holding her tail.

One time she saw ducklings and splashed toward them, the frightened duckings scurried around the lake avoiding Honey's clutches.

The mother flew in between them and led Honey to deeper water, far away from her brood. In the middle of the lake the duck lifted out of the water and flew back to shore. Leaving Honey stranded. She turned around and peddled and peddled. She arrived safely...worn out.

Best dog I ever had.
