Sorry, Rye83 but my search has been unsuccessful . Well, so far anyway . I hate delegating this kind of task as I like to see , touch , smell, etc. And make sure the quality I want is there. But I just might. Today is Chelsea Bun day , this, I doubt is on your agenda. Sugar, butter, eggs and so on. Otherwise it will just be the usual little menu as I can't get out to go foraging.
Unfortunately the only person I trust to stand in for me , my wife , is quite ill and though I have a new assistant starting this morning , I have a feeling she will bomb quite spectacularly . Maybe I can send her to our home to do the laundry.
Fortunately I have a good man to deal with the fish markets so there's no problem in that department. However, I have Noreco to deal with re electric cables and meter for when I move the truck to another position, just a few yards away.Give me a few days and I'll come up with something else. I'll keep you posted.

My recipe is more complex than this with freshly grated nutmeg and the zest of grated orange and lemon. I soon found out I can't make enough of these .

    Good morning,
Acquiring these ingredients (some are, of course, readily available ), should be entered as an olympic event. However, there are one or two more places to try. It's our day off today so , wife willing as it's her day off , too. I'll check if they're open . You never know.

Please take care when entering from the road to the car park. Plans are in place for repairs. Best to park on the right. Look forward to seeing you later. However , please don't make yourself known until after you've finished , then there will be no preferential treatment. If you get my drift ?

    Okay,
Potatoes anything up to P90 kilo,
I bought gas and cooking oil yesterday,
    P995 and P785 respectively.
Fish P500 to P600. I've yet to pay rent and electricity. Also my assistant's wages.
The logistics alone are worth P500 and we are well above average.
Oh, yeah, a little thing called profit which is very hard to come by.
I have a , self imposed , P300 ceiling on my menu, I think it's time to re evaluate that.
Thanks for helping me to see more clearly.

I and my gf visited Zacks place yesterday, I get battered prawns and gf homemade burger both dishes comes with french fries, delicious food we will come back. Only downside, noise from the highway, there are other places with good food where traffic noise is a problem IMHO, then I bring the food at home if it's near my place, but too far away the food gets cold. Good luck with your new business to the owners

We have always made our own tartar sauce from Mayo and sweet pickle relish, both avail many places in Duma... we usually skip the onion.. Like Russian Dressing is mayo and ketchup, can't tell the difference.
    • 1 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
    • 1 tablespoon minced onion
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)

Sorry to hear about your tragedy jessie77 and had I known I would have thought it not appropriate to make jokes about batteted fish etc. in lightening up a conversation in such a grief stricken time in your life. My best wishes and hopes that you find resolution with Silliman and also for the success of your restaurant, named after your son, and which is walking distance from my house. Best to you.

The home for battered fish is next door to the home for battered husbands.

    I don't know.
I'm a Zaks fan. The owner told me he had attempted to get cod or halibut but could not, or at least could not for a manageable price. I've had the fish and chips several times. The fish was always very good to my taste. The first time they did not have tartar sauce (which I love) but now they do. The sauce is not what I am used to but acceptable. The chips or fries have been made multiple ways in my three trips. First time was fantastic; the other two times closer to a standard french fry, but still not bad.

    I don't know.
There isn't actually a fish species 'Creamy Dory', 'Creamy Dory' is the fillet of the Pangasius Catfish. Apparently the reason for the change of name to Creamy Dory is because many people don't like to know they are eating catfish.
