Former professional cyclist Eddie Planckaert (Belgium and 57 yars old) improved the world record distance in 1 hour on a wooden bike yesterday: 11km, 932 mtrs and 94 cm!

What is the Difference between
1. A Mayor?
2. A Lady Mayor?
3. A Mayoress?

 

Rough guess I would say it's where/what country they hold office.

 

English system, lived in Devon for a while in a Stannary Town complete with their own Portreeve. A Mayor is traditionally Male, Lady Mayor is an elected, female official, Mayoress is the spouse of the elected Male Mayor. Can I have a question on ale tasting and bread weighing, or scrying the neck, Silver Balling (ooo-eeer missus, move this to the not for work forum), Obby Oss or Mazey Day please?
