This is one of the test drill sites for geothermal from the 80's up above Dauin and from here is the shortest hike up to the top of mt talinis. Also pics are HDR format, just makes things more interesting
No filters dustin, it's a program called photomatix which will generate an HDR picture. You also need to use your camera on manual, use one or two stops on bracketing and self timer and will take three shots. The program will do the rest for you! Also I'm sure you know where to find this software on the net

The program you mentioned can be found here in case anyone else is interested and doesn't know how to use Google. http://www.hdrsoft.com/ Price goes from 40USD to 120USD. I have several different apps on my phone and computer that are free that do similar things though.
