have you tried to travel from dumaguete to tagbilaran thru ocean jet?

 

I did a week ago. 650 php normal, 850 php business class, 15 PHP Terminal fee in Dumaguete

twice a day... occasionally they have "engine problem" in Tagbillaran going to Dumaguete, therefor no Dumaguete - Bohol trip...

i believe the engines may burst if there is not enough load (passengers) on the boat, so for safety reason they cancel trips with low numbers

 

LOL! i almost drop on my chair when i read your last sentence. yes sir you are right for safety reason better to cancel the trip because of the big loss on their side :D

this one of my concerns, what if i will buy a ticket and suddenly they will cancel the trip. it's a waste of time :(

 

Oceanjet advertise Jagna, Bohol to Camiguin twice daily, but as of the moment, they only do the 6am departure from jagna.

Used to be able to do Duamguete -> Tagbilaran, Gt Express (P100) to Jagna, jagna -> Camiguin in one day, now you need to overnight.

Rooms in Jagna, apparantly, for P300.00. One of my staff is there now. Have them looking for the good drinking spots as well, since they are stuck there, just in case. :D

All other ferries are NOT running from jagna -> camiguin as of the moment, including Paras Seacat and the Ro/Ro, so it is only Oceanjet for now and one trip daily.

 

How much is Jagna -camiguin fare?

 

i've done the dumaguete - bohol route probably 20 times. 1 hour 40 minutes and it's been trouble free for me.
