The yearly Sandurot Festival in Dumaguete City is a event which is hold in November. "Sandurot" means arrival and the Festival celebrates the arrival of foreign people and cultures at Dumaguete. Here some pictures from the Parade which ended at the City Hall for the showdown.
thanks roodie... nice fotos, looks like you have a better than average camera... i often wonder why the women in parades dress so unnatural (mucho makeup, etc.). besides parades, the female guards at the entrances to l. plaza and hypermart and the female sales girls and guards inside, i can't help but wonder what they actually look like. i mean, what's up with the big red lips and paint? just wondering... norm : ))~ ~~~ also, wondering how to post a foto in the message body ~~~
thanks Rhoody for sharing the pictures. anyone working outside of dumaguete would just simply miss things like this. it is always good to have this website. just reminiscing the things in dumaguete even though we are far. big thanks!
actually not.... all pictures this year posted before were done with a cellphone.... a Nokia N8 .... this post, a lot are from Rechel with a 7 year old Sony (5 mega-pixel), held together with tape and out of 12 settings it jumps between the 2 which still work (beach and macro)... and a few few I took having the chance to play the first time in my life with a very-beginner DSLR that would take a few pages to explain, but if you look at the latest american "movie-star" pictures and consider the japanese (and chinese) influence, "educated city-girls" cant be dark, dark skinned girls are farmers work on the fields...you should not ask that anymore... . not that hard if you have own servers or know the source [/qoute] @KDF, I think it reassembles an Avatar creature @Amy & kewl: thanks, the DI-Team does their best @Jimeve: How did the "ex-" slip in .... guess eve will kill me if we see again...
Great pictures, thank you and D.I team for a tremendous forum. D.I team you work so hard. See you in January. :dnr:
