In defense of Newbie27, what Newbie27 was doing was not genuine gossip.
In genuine gossip, NAMES are NAMED. So none of us realy know who newbie27 is referring to, nobody's reputation is/has been tarnished.

So i now therefore declare Newbie27 innocent of the charge of gossip.
All he has done is relate to us an account of immoral behaviour.

Long before leaving Australia (for the 1st time ever)and meeting my Prenilie, i did much research on Filipinas. There was both good and bad reports. There are numerous sharks among the filipinas who seek foreign men. One such woman actually had her Pinoy boyfriend living in her foreign husbands house, eating at the same table. The unsuspecting sucker was told he (the BF) was her cousin (cough cough).

Reading the following webpage was very scarey for me.

It made me think long and hard before buying the airline ticket.

There is good and bad in every bunch (nationality/race/gender).
Fortunately i also read that there were thousands and thousands of men who were ecstatically happily married to filipinas.
Most filipinas are loyal and faithful, even to a fault.

Go on, it sounds like she deserves it, maybe her prospective hubby reads this forum.....

At one time here in the Philippines there was a law that said amyone caught spreading "gossip" would be punished by having a burning piece of wood shoved in their mouth....

Fortunately that law is no longer on the books..... or many of us would have difficulty speaking.... I do not think gossiping is unique to the Philippines but there is no doubt it is gleefully practiced here....I do my best not to practice it but even I fall off the rule once in awhile..... A good friend of mine married a "virgin"..... I discovered....by her own admition she was not a virgin.... and despite being married was blatantly carrying on with her filipino lover..... I went to my friend..... gave him the facts and suspicions.... and that ended it..... I no longer participate..... I no longer want the latest "dirt"..... it is my friends problem.....my friends life..... my friends marriage...... no more gossip

:(How can a girl re-marry in the Philippines, if her ex is still alive? Did she get an annulment or is the story bogus?

 

There are ways to get around the marriage laws here....I know a Filipino married to a Filipina.....who is also married to an American.... my wife asked him how he could let his wife sleep with a foreigner and his response was as long as the checks keep coming he has no problem.....

 

I'm not perfect,are you? In spite of the knowledge I learned from the person I'm referring, I cant name it here I still respect her privacy. And also to avoid myself to be name as GOSSIP Newbie. I myself also got a sin but not as ill as her. I'm just expressing a SAD SITUATION over somebody in this world. After all, playing games to love ones not only happens here in Pinas but its all over the world. No offense to somebody I hurt here. I'm truly sorry.Peace!

cheating on your mate and playing games is certainly not something unique to the Philippines

 

If you had a good friend and you knew his wife/gf was fooling around, would you tell him?
If you had a good friend and you knew her husbund/bf was fooling around, would you tell her?
I have faced this delima several times and found myself in the middle of something i didn't like no matter what road I took.

I did Only once Ron, I ended up in Pig S...t for a very long time. Having said that, I wish I had a friend, that could have told me, About my EX, all those years ago.

Jack, Ya I wound up in the same s--t a long time ago for trying to help, so from then on I kept my mouth shut no matter what and still had a problem. Seems there is no easy answer.
