If you pay for the eye exam, the results-- the prescription-- belong to you. Without receiving the prescription, do not pay the bill.

I had both eye cataracts done at Aces one year ago, measurements taken at Holy Child, multifocal. Sorta ok, left eye good, right eye fuzzy. When I was in the states mid year I went to my old eye doctor in California. All he said was, "Yes, I might have done it a bit differently" (professional courtesy is world wide). A friend who went to Larrazabal in Cebu (the doc that drives a Ferrari), his right eye is also fuzzy (the patient, not the doc). Maybe manila or to another country. ?? Might add, Aces gave me the eye prescription and I got reading glasses for my right eye at santillan, no idea what I did differently..

My problem with ACE was not the actual examination but the assessment of the result. My right eye got a poor eyesight that could not be corrected with glasses. So they told me with their new machine from ZEISS they would be able to do a Optical coherence tomography (OCT). They found nothing and could not recommend any further treatment. Later I did this OCT in Europe again. Result: epiretinal gliosis. That is a very thin membran on the retina which can be removed with surgery. I did not do it yet. It is a rather expensive and difficult OP and needs a very experienced surgeon. If I do it, sure not at ACE.
