    That seems about right, as it costs $6,000 plus to ship a full shipping container. The Philippines is a looooong way away from the U.S. Somebody has to pay the freight! :D

    there is very little market for the kind of items expats are interested in so you do not have the scale of economy that Walmart takes advantage of in their big box stores in the States. Your going to pay a premium to obtain something like a lawn mower in the PI
