    minime,

hi...house rentals vary...starts from 10k up...depending if u know how to look for a house and u get to have a local do the negotiations for u., most folks would jack up the price if its foreigners renting (they think foreigners are rich)..

kindergarten....there's San Pedro Academy for their religious kindergarten...and of course there's the barangay kindergarten...in my barangay, our kindergarten is at a minimal of 100 pesos per month...air conditioned room..hehehe..really

thanks for reply but did you not make a mistake? 100 pesos per month or 1000? because 100 would be very affordable comparing the 35000 pesos yearly tuition i have confirmed from a good school in Dumaguete.sorry if my english is weak but please could you tell me what is K(10k) in money terms. I only know of pesos.

    k or K = thousand. Thus 10K would equal 10,000.

Minime your are really getting mixed up. C rymes was telling you that housing starts at 10k pesos a month and that is usually very basic simple housing. And then was explaining that at a local school where mostly local children go, who at that age do not necessarily speak english yet, the expense can be as little as 100p a month for kindargarten. That price was for kindergarten only. For a "good" school where foreign and better off students go, yes you will be paying as high as 35k pesos per semester.

The Philippines is not a very good place for foreigners to go looking for work if that is your plan. Most Filippinos work overseas, that is why they are found around the world. The best thing is if you work for a company that can post you here, otherwise you are really on your own.
