Aroma beach? or you meant the Manjuyod White Sand Bar? My friends and I liked the Sand Bar Beach but we really hate the Aroma Beach place. It was so dirty.

Well, I guess I have a lot to thank you for not feeling so bad about the place. After reading your thread, I had psyched myself-up and really pared down my expectations to a minimum. We just had to go coz I had already paid for our accommodations. When we got there, the kids had a great time at the beach and that was all that mattered. And for the price I paid (P1,200for a room for 6 by the beach), there's nothing much to complain about. But yes, I guess 1 or at most 2nights there is tops cause there's not much else to do (and eat), especially if you're the type to just stay in the room (there's no tv).

Good for you miss and your girl friends if you find aroma is quiet comforting :-). I call it as I see it. Sorry!!! I guess truth hurts...

whoah! how ironic that the sign says "website of gentle people" haha... as i've read the posts here, doesn't really show how "gentle" people are...

neways... I've been to aroma... we have are pre-reunion-reunion held at the said place... we also have our food catered by them... we did have (as i recall), patatim, grilled tangigue in spicy sauce, fruit salad, and one i specially enjoyed was the chicken lollipop. Our room has cable tv on it but it was just good for 2, my cousins stayed in there native cottages that were good for 5 but doesn't have tv's. we also enjoyed the beach, although it doesn't have white sand, it's clean and the water is cool. We had our beach volley interfamily contest (thankfully they do have volleyballs we could play), and at night we rented the karaoke for 5 hours for only p250!!! it's just a matter of knowing how to have fun, i guess.

i think it's not about the place though, it's the memories you have from your love ones that counts...
