That will vary with who you choose to use. I usually get extremely close to the current rate found on the internet.

 

Reedee, for what I know from my friends visiting me, the best place they had found out for their money changing was on the corner of the BPI Bank at the Quezon Park in Perdices Street.
Of course you will have to try some of the (many) money changers there but their rate seems to be quite reasonable and better than at the Bank or other money changer offices.
Allways look carefull and recount before leaving the guy

 

Other than the banks over there, I have found that one of the safer places {because it is located inside away from the street} is Optimum Traders. their rate it competitive and comparable to the banks, and to Me more trustworthy than the corner street lenders {that's My own Personal opinion}. If I can remember correctly They are located across the street from the park {the South side, which would be the opposite side from McDonalds}. It's been a Year or so since I have used them and I could be wrong, they may be located another block to the South, but in the same vicinity. Please exuse My short term Memory. I'm sure Someone knows the exact address, and even some more info. on them..cheers....

 

That's right John, my last visit to optimum traders I mistakenly gave £100 too much
and they gave the money back to me. very good rates and very honest indeed.

I think my short term memory is going too, its opposite the gas station near the bell tower.

 

Yes Jimeve You're correct, Optimum Traders is located on the opposite corner from the Bell Tower and across the street from the Gas Station, just a few doors up from My Favorite Chicken in Town:Sr.Pedro's Lechon Manok. I can't wait to get My hands on some of Their Chicken and Pork Liempo.....Just a little more than a Month away and I'll be there....Cheers....

 

The best exchange rate i found earlear this year was the moneychanger in Robinson's
(first floor) The advantage is also they clearly display their exchangerate, so you don't have to ask, you see it.
Just ask the exchangerate somewhere else and compare with the one in Robinson.

sounds Great. Robinson's hadn't opened yet when I was there last July. Not only do You say that they have the best exchange rate, but from what I've been told, GREAT A/C INSIDE TOO....... THAT'S A REAL PLUS WHILE YOU ARE WAITING....
