    It is my experience that the Banks shave off 1.30 Peso per Swiss-Franc transfered so that by an Exchange Rate of say 41.30 Peso I get here in my Account 40.00 Peso only.:(

    The exchangerate handled by the moneychanger in Robinson's is very similar to what the exchangerate is on ATM withdrawals.
    Just compare the exchangerate in Robinson's to XE - Universal Currency Converter

    BPI gave me a 43.699 peso exchange rate last week some time on a 10k piso withdrawal from my american account,i was amazed because it was still high from the last report I had seen that made me expect a 43.4 exchange rate,I found the ATM exchange to be very good,and i prefer to leave my dollars in american account and withdraw from ATM in dumgte and get my exchange done at the same time as withdrawal,it works fine and I exchanged large amounts just by going to ATM every day until I had the large amount i wanted..
