:D Love to eat balut but i only go for 8-10 day old egg with NO FEARTHERS in sight. So, generally, it's just like an egg with a little juice on it. I must say, it taste really good.

    Durian

:D :D :D Full well knew Durian is most popular in Mindanao and i don't know if Dumagueteneos embrace to like it coz of it's awful, stinky smell.
I was told for the very first time to just hold my breath and just let your sense of taste decide whether you like it or not. The combination of not so sweet and creaminess is a delight. It grew on me and it's one of my favourite tropical fruits since then. One day, popping in a chinese shop here in England, to my wildest dream, Durian was on sale, and bought it without the care in the world if it cost me £20. I was in heaven and it's worth it.

I grew up in Davao, chrissar which is probably why I love durian so much. The smell doesn't even bother me. To explain it better, I will compare it to dried fish. My husband thinks it smells like a dead rat. But to me, the smell is just heavenly :D

My husband doesn't like it either. When we bought it, he stayed outside so not to smell the stinky smelly feet as he described it. I was all alone eating the whole durian but the truth is, I was so pleased that had no one to share it with. hehehe. I was stuffed.
