Recently have noticed there are many birth certificates having errors, such as typing, spelling and other minor errors. The mistakes have to be corrected for various reasons..passports, schools, work etc. In order to correct the mistakes a fee must be paid to the office that made the mistake. The amount of the fee to correct the error is according to needs of the birth certificate holder. Some cases an attorney must be retained. If the office made the error..why does the citizen have to pay to fix it?
