I really appreciate your input and hereby apologize for my rude words.

Also for your all information, I can NOT ban any user here and all topics which may cause troubles are internal discussed by the DI-Team and the final decision is felt after that.

This web page is to support the city and Negros and discuss Dumaguete related topics.

If they have a proper base to discuss, critical comments are needed and welcome. Great examples for that is the power supply thread, LEE plaza or even the Halloween topic.

DI will NOT support any political, racial or religions discussion.

We also cant accept that the visitor of Dumaguete get scared away by bottomless water speculation.
Some members try to push it over the top (actually posted by one of them in a thread "lets see how far I can go until i get banned".... using words I would never use, even in my famous insults.

Jeez it's Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde. You need to apologise to Zambezi Kid for an outrageous accusation. Hopefully the others scared off by your bully boy tactics will return.

 

Well if you have been following zambezi, he needs no apology, he has been spamming and trolling here quite skillfully for some time, offering a few "nice" posts to stay under the radar. I think he was also spamming my blog after i called him on his particular style. Of course everyone has an opinion, and mine is mine not yours.

As far as the poor brit in jail... This is behavior that goes on every day in every province in the Philippines. Between filipinos, and between Filipinos and foreigners. there is no divorce here and common law marriages are frequent. This guy just crossed the wrong individual who had some political connections. nothing exceptional about the circumstance from my seat. But the caution should be, cover your labot, and don't makes assumptions about lax laws in the Philippines, its the people that get you, not the judiciary.

Does anyone know of cases where this law has been applied in Dumaguete ? Is it something that would make the local newspaper ?

That is what you get when you live in a remote 3rd world country like the philippines where in religion dictates the fate of the people and that really sucks. In this day of age where evolution is the major basis of life and living, every individual should having the f*****g right and will to choose what is good for him. No religion should ever(which some laws are based upon) interfere on individual choices.
