Posted on behalf of Carl since he is not so Internet-posting savvy...

Carl & Frank will be hosting an event to watch the Royal Wedding together and invite you to join them at Frank's boat this Friday. Please wear your favorite feather hat in honor of Kate Middleton.

They are having a difficult time deciding which hat style to wear for the Grand Event so they sent me pictures from their Easter Bonnet collection of them and some friends. You decide which hat they should wear or offer suggestions of new hat styles...

How glad I am NOT to be there, wearing a tight scarlet tunic done up to the neck, tight boots and big heavy furry hat with the chain chin strap digging in to the bottom lip. :D:D:D

Just hope he gives her a right royal seeing-to tonight and re-appears in the morning with a huge smile on his face.:p

The cost is borne by the tax payer from Central Funds, as would be any State occassion. But it is money well spent; the income to the country from tourism alone generated by the Royal Family is more than 10:1, and coupled with our ability to present pomp and circumstance, pageantry, and centuries old tradition in the most spectacular fashion generates even more. There would be no additional cost for the military presence or the police presence as both of these organisations would have been on duty anyway, and are funded respectively by the Defence budget and the Home Office budget. The BBC are reported to have beamed the occasion to over 2 billion viewers world-wide and the royalties coming in to the country from that is an eye-watering amount. And long may it continue. The alternative would be to live in a souless Blair/Brown socialist republic, and I was pleased to see that both of those arch traitors were not on the list of guests.

Broadside, I agreed with most of which you stated
I would like to wish the ( Royal ) Couple a long and happy marriage.
However I would question as to why you feel that Blair/ Brown were traitors.
Mistakes were made during the Labour Government, just as there are mistakes being made now over Libya etc. I always have said if we lose the NHS I will join you guys over there, that day doesnt seem so far away!
