Cathay Pacific - Travel Advisories

Is the onward ticket only required if you have a one-way ticket to RP? What if you booked a round trip ticket but your return date is beyond the 21 day free visa date - is that an issue with Cathay Pacific?

 

Just to let the forum members know that we flew Malaysian Airlines Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur - Manila on single tickets a few days ago, but we did have questions about a ticket for exiting the Phils. We had taken the advice of obtaining a 'throw-away' ticket for a flight from Clark to Kina Kotabato and were not bothered any further once that was shown. It IS possible to fly out on a single ticket, but you have to be careful and follow certain rules....

Interesting development:just received an e-mail from Tiger Airways that the flight I booked for my asawa and me to serve as an outbound confirmation when travelling from Amsterdam to Manila on one-way tickets had been cancelled. The reason stated was that a recent network review had made them decide to cancel the flight Clark - Kota Kinabalu (booked for 23 april next year). Either someone wisened up because there were to many no-shows on these flights, or they are reading the forum and realise the are selling throw-away tickets... Good news was that they will completely refund us for the tickets!!
