This sad story confirms my fears and reinforce my views:
Never drive myself unless simply riding a moped for short distances in Duma centre, and even then....and always ensure getting my travel insurance before leaving!
It was almost amusing reading the big note by the Ceres' driver warning to fasten your seatbelt then realizing there were no seatbelts to fasten.
Most pinoys drive like lunatics, to be expected when one can simply buy his/her driving license.
On top of that I was told that many are stepping in front of moving vehicles intentionally to get hold to insurance money....
    Wish a happy ending.
    Cheers, Marco.

That is exactly the reason why i drive myself as much as possible as I don't wanna sit with a lunatic driver in charge.

Hi Rhoody, I hear what you're saying, but as proven many times over, it is often not the driver's fault but someone else, so no matter how careful one's driving is, if you get people determined to die under your wheels or dogs crossing the road just in front of you, there is not much you can do.....as a long nose I let you guess who's side the barrio captain will take, get your wallet ready!

I have seen a number of times drivers of Ceres who are sleeping while driving. No kidding, I saw them driving with their eyes closed. What are they thinking? These tired drivers are probably trying to steal some sleep while driving--very crazy. I heard that they would rather go back and crush the victim to death if they can because it would cost smaller compared to paying for hospital bills. I heard one story about a man riding his bicycle who got hit by that bus which had to run back in order to finish the poor guy. I hope owners of the bus line will do something about this.

Yeah, probably they congratulated the driver for having saved them a bundle of money....did you notice that all drivers are wearing sunglasses even when it's cloudy? One wanders why aren't they simply wearing travel eye masks :D

    Culpability

It is overly cynical, really nonsense to say or imply that Ceres welcomes accidents in any form, for any reason. A friend of mine, her Ceres-driver father, was suspended and never returned to service for having an accident.

You're right Jim, I was just being sarcastic and it was not my intention to cause any upsets.....my apology if I did.
