Thanks Teach, my latin is a bit rusty after 25 years...

I actually told one of the guys already that I only talk to the Boss personally, as he sees and knows everything anyway (at least that what I have been told long time ago), there is no need for secrets.

If the big Boss up there thinks it is important, he can forward it to the guys down here.

Speaking for myself, I won't tell a damned ..... to a guy in a funny robe, I have never seen before in my entire life or had a good night out with.

Knowing a bit about the catholic's leaders history in Germany, I rather buy my maybe future mother in law a house, lot and a german passport, than trusting that guys ...

But I see the guy in the funny robes

Every Sunday. So doing a confession once in awhile is a must for me. So I always use that confession format for my personal privacy. I always thought a priest is still a man. But what is funny most of the priest I know can't speak Latin.

I think everyone seems to be...

looking at the people of the church and not looking at the purpose of the church being stuck in church dogma is a fast way to lose your way. keep your eyes on God not on the working's of man. So many leaders in the church have turn this in to a business. However I think this has been done because the people do not support the church in the same way they did in the pass. I remember when a catholic would never miss a mass and now if they show up to midnight mass once a year they are lucky. We as catholics have to take the responsibility for what has happened to the church because of or lack of involvement in the church. Which I have been guilty just like everyone else. For years I didn't go to church I was to busy with my own personal affairs thinking that someone else can do it and now I look at what has happened to the church I feel some what responsible as every Catholic should, it is our church and what did we do with it?

I have forgotten how to speak Latin except for the very basic prayers.
There was a pope or two that I didn't even know their names.
Couldn't even use the church as a tax deduction because I had not support the church in anyway.
At this point I starting to feel a shamed of myself.

Then when there is a problem where do we go?
We head for the church as always. Because we are Catholic's this just part of out core being.

Now that I have a daughter I want her to grow up with the same core beliefs
I have. But I pray that she doesn't pick up my bad habit of letting someone else take care my soul.

    Coincidence

That older you get the more religious some become, just look at the age of people who go to church or is it just a coincidence.

    Next step Heaven.
