If you bring a couple of months supply, then when you get here, go to Mercury Drug and give them the name(s) of the meds you need, and if they don't already stock them (and assuming they can get it), they usually get it within a week. Like I mentioned before, though, you will save $$ getting what you can at Generics Pharmacy first.

 

Thanks for letting us know that Generic Pharmacy is open. I had to purchase my monthly supply of meds and instead of 10,000+ I was able to get all but 2 of the meds I take for under 3,000. It will be cutting my meds bill by about 50%, and they gave my wife a crappy umbrella and 3 ball pens free. It made her day.

Great, ain't it? Before we moved to Dumaguete, there were no generic pharmacies that I could find listed anywhere and I was going to open one up, by golly!! But, I was so glad when we got here and saw one in progress!!

Generics Pharmacy

The Generics Pharmacy is on the corner of Real and V Locsin, in the EROS bldg. their number is: 035 422 3300.
They have the Salbutamol for nebulizer (2.5mg) for 16.10 php each.

Just curious.. does Generic Pharmacy takes insurance from the US?.. example like ChampVA/Tricare.

ChampVA/Tricare does not work out of the US unless you are on a base and active duty or otherwise assigned to the base.
