Pangitpilot....you have no idea.....when I met my princess, of course she had a bottom of the line cell phone. When I came here, I bought with me 2 Apple iPhones and 2 Acer fully-loaded netbooks. One for each of us. I had Internet installed at home and put in a Wi-fi router. In the past 9 months, 99% of the time, both iPhones and both netbooks are on the Internet.
    You are soooooo very right.

HaHaHaHa, if I want dinner, I have to text and ask, it gets a better response than walking downstairs and asking in person.

Seeing there are some of you who may be in the same position as me (I am at least 15 yrs older than my father-in-law and mother-in-law), how do you address them. My wife of course calls them papa and mama, so far I call them by their first name, seems to work as their English is the same as my Visayan, one or two words. I told my wife they can call me anything except their ATM machine :-)

PatO.....I faced the same thing before I came here. I am 20 years older than her Dad and 18 years older than her Mom. I asked Rudy before I came and she said to call them "Mom and Dad" or they would be insulted. So I do. Seems strange, but it works for us.

I think that the in-laws are the best here, because all they want is their daughters to be happy and secure.
My funny in-law story, is when I got my drivers license, I said something to Dad and he admitted that he didn't have one after all of these years of driving. Laughingly, I made him go get one. He is so proud of it now.
    Me also......great in-laws.
