Hello everyone! new member here and this is my first post.

I was actually looking for forums about Negros Oriental and bump on this site as I search through google. Nice pictures you have here! I'm actually a Zamboangnon and is (almost) always at this place during wednesdays. My place is located in Zamboanguita proper so it's not very far from Malatapay (around 2-3 km from here). At the moment, I'm in a different place so i felt nostalgic looking at the pics. Funny, I knew some of the people on the pics. :D One is actually a former Vice Mayor of the Town (clue: Leopard Apron...:D). Thank you very much for sharing. Going through the pictures makes me wanna go home right now...:(

Although this is not the correct thread for introducing, welcome to this forum Novice.
So we are from the same municipality !
Malatapay is nearly my neighbor at less than 1 km.
My dear honneponey is going every Tuesday afternoon and every Wednesday morning to buy stuff at the Malatapay market.
I did company her in the beginning but got problems with smelling the dried fish everywhere there.:o
Good reason to stop going although it is a must if you have not yet been there
I will give the regards to that vice mayor :D

    Partly wrong, Novice.
I am indeed from Maluay but NOT married to a beauty of Zamboanguita.
My beautyqueen (my partner) comes from the island of the best mangos in the whole world: Guimaras.
I sound like a foreigner ? So I could not hide it that well :D
But don't call me a 'mod' because the only mod here will else get angry on me and he probably will never dance with me again :D
No, I'm just a normal member on this forum.

How can you be so sure from that distance (California) ?
Because it has a (nearly) similar color or you did taste it here ?
I think that Wileiz has the better answer.
But I will double check it with the makers next Wednesday :D
