I'm 51 now, and hopefully won't have to think about that stuff for a long time . Since I do have a lot of older friends, I know several of them take some kind of Viagra type medicine within reason and it seems not to be a problem. However I did see a friend around 70 drop dead of a heart attack after gulping down 6 or 8 pills the night before according to his wife. I also luckily still have a friend that took 4 Viagra's and 2 Chinese pills. He wound up in the hospital the next morning with a heart attack and luckily survived . I just bring this up because I have heard of other people (mostly tourists) taking massive doses, plus alcohol and even sometimes drugs. Hopefully they will be wiser.

So RON! It seems that were are of the same mind here, Invasion of the body is not good, drugs (and all tablets, pastilles are Drugs) have side effects that none of us will ever really understand. Best left alone unless we see a Doctor first. Of course I too, will join in condolences to all family of anyone that suffers.

Grandpainak, expatron and others are all correct. But overdosing on anything is just stupid. There is no substitute to asking your doctor first.
I am fortunate that I have a good heart and no diabetes or other illness that could be a factor. And I am a "normal weight" for my height.
Like Grandpainak, I just notice a decline in my ability. I still could, but not for as long as I wanted to, so I went to my doctor in the US. I tried Viagra which did nothing, then Cealis, which also did nothin and then Levitra which worked. I only take one every 3 days and it has enough lasting effect for the 2 days in between.
I can't imagine taking more that one as you have said above, some have done.
We can all read and the product websites are full of caution statements.

 

A safe (so far) and less expensive alternative for a little extra boost try Horny Goat Weed from GNC Health Store. You can read up on it on the internet.

I guess i will add my experience with the enhancers.

I have tried the Viagra, Happy King and others. They all worked about the same and with the same results that made me give them up. As time went by the terrible pounding in my head got worse so i said it was time to give up the love making. I am 68 with a bad prostate that causes ED so the pills were a blessing for a short time. But it was not worth the risk of busting a blood vessel or worse.

I know a lot of the men that i know take the street version and no problem , BUT YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOUR NUMBER IS UP, SO USE CAUTION AND LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.

Sex is beautiful, but not worth dieing for!

 

I keep Viagra around because my company's insurance used to pay for it all but $5 of it, then I cut the 100mg into quarters. So it was pennies per dose.

I swear I've got some that are many years old and they work fine. I use it to get past any anxiety, or as in the case of my old g/f from Tanjay - the thought of her father's laser sighted pistol throwing off my game?

I tried the stuff sold at the Chinese pharmacy in the basement of Lee Plaza and it made the lights in the ceiling brighter and sparkle etc.

God knows whats in Chinese drugs. I've read where people taking a Chinese weight loss drug were experiencing kidney failure! A friend of my wife took some Chinese drug that she thinks helped her conceive. Then I looked it up, and there were warnings about its lead content.

Who knows what's in the stuff sold on the street. They tried to sell me fake Viagra in Cebu 12yrs ago offering me 100mg for sale. When I finally saw the package, it read 50mg! I asked about that and was told Filipino mg were different than other mg..

Interesting..... Why do most men find it embarrassing that their body does not work as well at 70 as it did at 19.... Does it really make me less of a man / person because I am old..... Why is failing abilities because of old age embarrassing....or a surprise.....

These enhancing drugs.....like most drugs carry a risk..... I appreciate everyone heres help in not killing myself..... now that the "main' tool is unreliable.....i have to concentrate on other ways to express my love for my beautiful wife..... do not know if it is enough but I keep trying new ways to say...."I love you"

 

There are a lot of these "homeopathic' (natural ??) solutions.... from Goat Weed to Ginseng..... the danger here is the assumption that because it is "natural" it wont hurt you
FIRST Most medicine is "natural" .... aspirin originated from willow bark....
SECOND Even natural things can kill you.... Arsenic is natural

I shy away from most of these "natural" remedies for two reasons....one they have never been "double bind" tested to find out if they actually work.....or it is placebo effect
and two....everything has potential risks / side effects.... what are the risks to goat weed..... did you know you can die from drinking too much water.... I do not mean "drown" I mean poison yourself with otherwise safe clean water....

The government does not always get it right.....but the odds are in your favor if you allow the FDA to guide you
