    1 hectare is 10,000 metres.
    2,9 hectares - 29,000 x 0.45 = 13,050.00 pesos.
The paperwork will cost more than that.

Go and look at it Don and let us know what you think. If you are able to invest in it yourself, maybe you would then be able to subdivide it and sell parcels to everyone else. Sounds like a money maker to me.

    Okay Guys,

I know it sounds...."Too Good To Be True"! (I didn't fall ff the Turnip truck yesterday either)......and we all sure know what THAT means....ha,ha,ha.
But that's what I have been told via email from the foriegner's asawa! It's supposedly been a past productive sugar cane field...also, supposedly has great overlooks of the valley coastal plain down to the Tannon Straight, etc...etc..

BTW...this was meant to be a reply to TARDIS'S original question...but averyone but him seems to be replying...which is ok by me - but makes me wonder where he went?

Since I do have the 13K Php myself, I do plan on going and scoping it out...the owners are out of country so "stuff" has to be coordinated with a local relative to be our (my asawa, me and our Pit Bull) guide. I've got a 4X4...so it's just a question of getting the show on the road.....remember...it's also rainy season now, so I'm wondering a little about year round accessability. Well, we'll see.......if anyone sees this Tardis guy...please also let him know he had a response! K?

I wouldn't want to have that piece of land even if it were given to me. It's not a very safe place for foreigners to be in even if you say there are no people around. You never know.

Well.....slight ( Ha,ha,ha) CORRECTION to the true, actal cost of this "Dirt Cheap" land I posted about the other day. Sorry folks.....but I best clear it up now rather than later.
In my arranging by emails with the out-of-country foriegen owners asawa for a relative to meet me along the road to guide me to this place...I again mentioned about the cost per sm. She replied that ...."Oh - I made a small mistake and put the decmil point in the wrong place and that the price is 45.00 Php per sm.....not .45 Php".
She went on to apologize, claiming it had been for sale at 55.00Php and when her husband told her to reduce the price per sm, she mis-typed it to me......Of course I told her that's a hell of a difference....from 45 CENTAVOS raised up to 45 PISO!!
What can I say.....??? I'm sorry to any of you who got excited due to the very low price that I quoted...my initial pricing information was wrong, and I apologize to you all for that.

Don , funny that she regards it as a SMALL mistake
But at least it's a better answer than what she could have said as well:
"Sorry sir, but the square meters with those low prices are out of stock"
At least it gave a page of reactions, so don't worry about the mistake.
