    steaks are excellent
mind you I went for the aussie meat.
no doubt the American stuff would just be steroid and chemical filled junk
but rest assured that the aussie steaks are superb.
better then anything i've had in the Uk which isn 't saying much
    but I really was impressed

yabs , you must have hell-bent disgust and aversion of anything american...even american steaks perceived all marinaded with cocktails of toxins.

words alone cannot convey how much i truelly loathe american culture, fast food and its general materialistic shallowness.
Most things I despise in the world now (junk food, Political correctness., crass commercialisation, cultural ruin etc etc etc) and am trying to escape in dumaguete have their origins in the good ole USA.
I also happen to think that on arrival your immigration staff and people in the airline security staff are amongst the most arrogant in the world and thats including France.
Whilst I can fully understand why the Muslim world is even less keen on american culture corrupting the world I cannot condone their actions
and the islamic world is even further down my list of favourite countries and people so no i am not a fan of Bin Laden.
I have some American friends but cannot think of many arabic ones right now

Yabs, you're anti-american rubbish is getting tedious. What happened...your wife/girlfriend/boyfriend run off with a Yank? I travel to the US (have relatives working there) when I get the chance, beautiful country and fantastic people, and their steaks are quite fine generally...some of the best I've had. The very best I ever had were in Japan oddly...and they weren't cheap. But yes, Australian steak versus American...both quite good...and I'm happy to delve into either...crikey give it a rest...America is a wonderful place...like Oz...

I've also found their airline and immigration staff just fine...easy to deal with and ever friendly...

Don't know where you are from...don't particularly care...your attitude whanks..

    Yabs,
I just want to add: In my business, I deal with several Aussies visiting the States, and they love it! The only thing they complained about was we had the lousy beer. I will be traveling to Melbourne in April, and I look forward to knocking down a couple VB's with them.:D

I am a AUSSSIE and can say that I dont have a problem with AMERICANS and infact if they did not help out in WW2 Australia would be run by Japanese and I would look like a asian...
But some things like progress do bring problems, seeing all the fast food outlets in Manila and the way Filipinos seem to love this type of food is a worry for the future health of Filipinos.

I'd love to visit Australia some day. Seems to be a very beautiful country, and how could anyone not love those accents

You're lucky to be so much closer to the Philippines, too. Is it about 3,000 miles from Sydney to Dumaguete? Beats 10,000 from here :(

Sydney Is Only 7hr 30 Minutes From Manila But I Still Find That To Far Away From The Philippines For Me
